Achievements

Starting my own business GK Universal! It is my biggest achievement to date in the field I passionately love. Having the power to give people the tools and knowledge to help them change their lives for the better is the biggest fulfillment for me and I’m very grateful to be able to do what I love for work.

Tell us a bit about you and your journey…

I was born in Sudan during the civil war. These were very dangerous times, I don’t remember much since I was a child but my mother carried myself and my sister for 6 months where we eventually made it to Nairobi in Kenya and flew to Australia as refugees. My father was the general of the Sudanese army at the time and was killed. I was 6 years old when I arrived here in Australia in 1996. Life was very difficult. It was hard to fit in, there weren’t many Africans around at the time but what bought me joy and happiness was sports. Anything to do with health and fitness I absolutely loved and was very competitive. I was very athletic as a child, my legs were my transportation to everywhere I needed to go.

I started boxing at the age of 23 which is extremely late for a boxer but I was born an athlete! I worked twice as hard and committed myself to the craft. And now I’m a professional.

What is your proudest moment thus far?

When I made the commitment to myself that I would Love, Nurture and Never give up on myself. I turned Vegan on this day.

Tell us about your morning routine

Wake up, pay gratitude for another day, exercise.

What’s your favourite PranaOn product?

What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?

For my first meal of the day I will usually incorporate it to make a bowl which will normally include oats, bananas, berries, organic crunchy peanut butter and almond milk. It provides me with the best natural form of protein and nutrition to kick start my day with awesome energy levels.

Tell us something interesting about yourself or a hidden talent

I can speak some Arabic, I’ve probably got a few more but I don’t consider it to be a talent. Instead I look at it as normal lol. One thing I do love is down time in nature.

Any superstitions?

None.

Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?

I prefer training in the mornings, I find it’s the best way to start your day!

Where can we find you on a Saturday?

Kicking back outside, breathing in the amazing prana energy and enjoying what life has to offer!

What’s on the horizon for you?

I want an Australian Title so hopefully that comes soon but the main goal for me is to have a World Title!
