Tell us a bit about you and your journey…

I started playing rugby when I was 18, fell in love with the sport. At that time, it was nowhere as big as what it is now. I landed myself a college rugby scholarship in America, had the time of my life over there. In my final tournament, it was televised as it was Nationals and I actually broke my nose on the live stream, so the video of that made its way to the internet and went viral.

Since that I returned to Australia a week later to finish my degree in Australia, I also managed to fracture my fibula, and tear my meniscus 6 months later so was put out of rugby for a fair while. Back playing for Bond University in the AON Uni 7s series which I am absolutely loving.

What’s your favourite PranaOn product?

Tribal Force – Choc Cherry Coconut is my favourite

What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?

I love soaking my protein with my oats overnight and having it for breakfast! I usually soak in almond milk too.

Tell us something interesting about yourself or a hidden talent

I am in my masters of Osteopathy; funnily enough means I can manipulate/ adjust most joints of the body 🙂

Any superstitions?

I don’t like mentioning ever that Ive been injury free in a season.

Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?

Depends what I am doing but I like both.

Where can we find you on a Saturday?

If I’m not at a rugby tournament, I volunteer at a Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Centre.

What’s on the horizon for you?

First goal is to finish my master’s degree, then thinking about going overseas to play some more rugby!

Favourite motto to live by:

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard enough”.
