Tell us a bit about you and your journey…

I have forever been passionate about my health and fitness both internally and externally. This desire has resulted in me internally fuelling my body with the greatest quality food that provides the most nutrient rich bioavailability. Externally, I have endeavoured to continually progress and improve my training performance in the gym to excel myself as a competitive athlete. Combining these variables has led to a sport in not only which I love, but enables me to practically apply my strong work ethic into a long term goal.

For ethical and health purposes, I have stuck strongly to a Vegan based diet over the majority of my journey. Since making this lifestyle change, it has challenged me in many healthy ways to seek the best quality foods sources and supplements. Subsequently, my nutritional intake has had to satisfy the energy demands required in my training, so I have only ever selected the best quality options.

What is your proudest moment thus far?

Just last year I placed 2nd at the Amateur Olympia in Las Vegas. At such as high international level, the competitive standard is nothing short of the best quality level athletes and individuals. Finishing in second place overall, provided me with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment for the unscalable quantity of hard work I had implemented over the prior years.

Tell us about your morning routine

I am a sole business owner and have worked endlessly to be in the position I currently am. Just recently, I opened up my own business location which has resulted in me putting even greater hours and effort into each working week. Upon waking each morning, I will always ensure that my nutrition has been prepared and organised for the day. Once my day has started, I am very limited to spare time so meal preparation and supplementation has always played part in my weekly routine. Once I have prioritised my nutrition for the day I will commence work at 5:00am most days. For me I have always seen time as an opportunity, rather than a limiting factor.I am a sole business owner and have worked endlessly to be in the position I currently am. What’s your favourite PranaOn product?

The entire protein range…particularly ‘Power Plant Protein’.

What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?

Given that my nutrition requirements have been exclusive of all meat/poultry products and some soy products, I have been limited to protein selection. Ensuring I have an adequate portion of protein with each meal has been essential for me to reach daily protein totals and timing of nutrition requirements around my training times. I will normally include Power plant protein within my breakfast in combination with oat meal or with blended fruit. Around training times I will drink it on its own due to convenience and uptake. Of an evening, I will generally add this to any additional foods prior to rest to ensure I have met my total daily intake.

Tell us something interesting about yourself or a hidden talent

I am a strong believer that opportunities in life will often take a path that has predisposed succession and greatness. Although I am a strong believer of hard work and will always strive towards what it is I want most, I believe there that at times some opportunities and things happened for a reason.

Any superstitions?

None.

Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?

I prefer to train in the morning and will do so on my free days. However, with my current work limitations I will usually train in the afternoon during the week.

Where can we find you on a Saturday?

As well as working, I will use any spare time for preparation of my following week. This could include schedule organisation and meal preparation. Once I have prepared for the week ahead I will often spend a little more time at the gym completing my bigger training sessions.

What’s on the horizon for you?

I am determined to excel my business, performance and overall succession in all areas of my life. Competitive wise I am considering the options in being represented for more international competitions next year in the Bikini division.

Favourite motto to live by:

Don’t let fear stop you from being great. Being scared makes us human. But may we never allow it to prevent us from doing what we were destined to do in this life. You’ll never know what you’re capable of unless you take a chance. So be true to you, be kind always and don’t be afraid to make your dreams reality.
