I have had many achievements physically on the rugby field, on the competitive stage and in various competitions, but building my own successful business online and 1:1 coaching surpasses everything I could have dreamt of. To be able to do what I love every day and help others achieve their strength and physique goals in and out of competition and if life is by far my biggest achievement and source of fulfilment.
Tell us a bit about you and your journey…
Born in the UK, I moved to New Zealand after graduating in a Sports Science Degree and exercise physiology. A fews year later, I moved to Australia to chase my dream of being the best Coach I can be. I created a business called “Vegainz” after choosing to adopt the vegan lifestyle 7 years ago, whilst helping others achieve their health, strength and body goals. Today, I help others around the world be their best, on this lifestyle with my custom online programming and 1:1 training.
What is your proudest moment thus far?
My love for training would make my proudest moment have to be, seeing my clients succeed in their competitions, athletic aspirations and daily life.
Tell us about your morning routine
I wake up at 4.30am, to a cold shower each and every morning. First thing I do, before anything – it’s the most amazing way to start the day. It’s a good way to kick off feeling fresh, in a ready state of mind to beat the “flinch”, that moment of backing out of something uncomfortable and serves as a good reminder for the rest of the day to overcome obstacles. I then make breakfast which usually consists of oats, mixed berries and seeds, walk my dogs, and then get off to training.

What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?
I regularly use it in my morning oats, and my post workout smoothies for recovery. I do so because it gives me everything I need to help me achieve my goals whilst also tasting great.

Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?
Anytime I get chance to in between my busy coaching schedule. Preferably, I prefer conditioning work in the morning, strength training in the evening.
Where can we find you on a Saturday?
One of three most likely possibilities:
1. At the gym
2. Eating out somewhere or
3. Cuddling my dogs
What’s on the horizon for you?
To keep helping others with my message, and my coaching philosophy. I am also personally competing this year so it’s going to be plenty of prep and hard work. Watch this space.
