Tell us a bit about you and your journey…
Bodybuilding has been a lifestyle for me for over 30 years, first experienced as a 15 year old army family kid learning the basics in the gym from a former commando at the land warfare centre in Canungra Queensland. Then I later moved to Brisbane and learned from other bodybuilders, and from training in many gyms throughout Brisbane. I also did lots of reading and research, and through trial and error of endless nutrition and training regimes learnt a lot about improving my physique. Then later gaining qualifications myself in the fitness industry to get a better science based understanding, which not only helped me but all those who touch my life.
What is your proudest moment thus far
Proudest moment winning the Professional Natural Olympia in 2016 this was my 7th attempt at trying to win it and everything came into alignment that day.
Tell us about your morning routine.
My morning routine starts with a coffee, then I usually train some personal clients.
Around mid morning or lunch time I train myself.
What’s your favourite PranaOn product?
Favourite product is the pomegranate intra strength, i always have this in my water during training, mixed with some L-Glutamine.
What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?
I use intra strength during training and again before bed. It does not require digestion and provides a large dose BCAA’s particularly L-Leucine which has been shown to improve protein synthesis.
Tell us something interesting about yourself or a hidden talent.
My hidden talent lol singing Karaoke badly and dancing.
Any superstitions?
I don't like odd weights on a barbell example 2 x 10kg on one side and 1 x 20kg on the other not symmetrical.
Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?
I do prefer training mid morning im more awake and when you are finished your day is freed up for other endeavours.
Where can we find you on a Saturday?
Training Legs early in the morning with long time friend and training partner Bryce Cleary.
What’s on the horizon for you?
Currently I train 5 to 6 days per week stay ready for when i feel the bug to compete again. But currently i am the president on the INBA in Australia and I oversee and travel to all our local events and act as the MC. For the last 2 years I have been the head judge at the pinnacle of natural bodybuilding the Natural Olympia held in November in Las Vegas.
