Tell us a bit about you and your journey…

I got into fitness around 5 year ago while I was still at university and like many do, I started out as a cardio bunny and lost quite a bit of weight. I switched partying for running and going to the gym. It was a huge outlet for me while I was studying and looking back, this was a massive turning point in my life. Around the same time I also become vegan and started to look and feel better than ever. Although I had been a vegetarian since I was a kid, it wasn’t until I become 100% plant based that I really felt a shift in health. I woke up with more energy, had clear skin, lost unwanted weight and felt happier than ever.

I was wanting to gain a more toned look and was introduced to lifting weights by a friend, I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, I had been told by many that it would be difficult to put on muscle as a vegan To my surprise though, I rapidly gained muscle and saw results straight away. I decided that I wanted to see how far I could push myself and break down the “skinny vegan” stereotype. I knew that if I could gain muscle as a vegan then anyone could!

I tried PranaON for the first time at the Arnold Classic expo and was hooked. I was so excited to find a company that shared my values and was also all about showing the world what vegans could achieve.

I continued to train harder, and people would ask me what I was doing and questioned whether I had considered competing. I had never given it that much thought but with my new found confidence and my passion for spreading the benefits of going plant based, I decided to give it a shot.

I placed second in the open division of my very first fitness comp which ignited my passion even more so. Since then I have made it my mission to show what results are possible while being natural and plant based. I have noticed that it is so much easier to maintain a healthy and lean physique year long when plant based. I want to share with the world how to live this sustainable lifestyle!

What is your proudest moment thus far?

Being able to get fitness photoshoot ready within only 2 days (how good is being plant based?! 😛 )

Tell us about your morning routine

I wake up each morning at 5am. This is my hour of power where I answer emails, check social media and plan out my day ahead. I love mornings and feel most creative and inspired at this time.. Then go for a walk along the beach or do some form of light exercise, followed by a nourishing big breakfast. From 7:30-11am, I work with clients and work on my business. I will have some PranaOn aminos and then hit the gym. Post training I refuel with PranaOn Protein and carbs!

What’s your favourite way to use it or incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle, and why?

This is going to sound really really weird but just trust me on this one… I break up 4 rice cakes into small pieces and cover with a scoop of prana protein in a bowl mixed with about 400mls of water or nut milk and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt. I have this post workout daily and it’s so tasty! Haha

I studied psych at uni:-D

Any superstitions?

I’m not sure if this is a superstition but I never let myself go to sleep angry or upset. I feel like something terrible will happen if I do.

Morning!

Where can we find you on a Saturday?

At the beach or hiking outdoors.

What’s on the horizon for you?

I am super focused expanding my online personal training company. I will also be doing a comp within the next year!
