PB+J Protein Overnight Oats

We gave you the best PB+J Protein Smoothie ever, now we’ve got some ridiculously good PB+J Protein Overnight Oats! This recipe by Nutritionist Nina Gabriela of Naturally Nina is the perfect high protein, high fibre, nutrient dense and super delicious way to start the day. Made with our Strawberry Jam Power Plant Protein and prepped the night before for ultimate convenience. That’s our jam.

PB+J overnight oats

PB+J Protein Overnight Oats

Serves: makes 1 serve
Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients

2/3 cup oats
1 cup boiling water
1 TBSP Byron Bay Peanut Butter (the REAL stuff!)
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 nectarine

 

Method

1. Pour boiling water over oats and allow to soak overnight.
2. In the morning, stir in protein, adding a splash of almond milk if needed to get the oats to your desired thickness.
3. Heat chopped strawberries in a pan and cook for about 5-10 minutes until soft and jam-like.
4. Top oats with chopped nectarine, strawberry ‘jam’, Byron Bay Peanut Butter and hemp seeds. Enjoy!

Optional: Top with strawberry chia jam for extra fibre!
