Tell us a bit about you and your journey…

Most people know about my swimming career and achievements. So since retiring in 2013, I'd class myself as an entrepreneur. I have done a number of TV, Media and Sponsorship roles which I really enjoy, especially if they involve travel! I’ve done a lot of work in India over the past 5 years and am in the process now of setting up my own High Performance Swimming Academy and swimming programs and I work very closely with the current Australian Olympians from a mentoring perspective, to craft their mental excellence and resilience.

What is your proudest moment thus far?

Achieving my childhood dream of becoming an Olympian and then going on to win all 3 of my events at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Tell us about your morning routine

I wake up around 8:30, make my bed and shower right away.
I like to listen to an uplifting YouTube to get my in the right state of mind for the day ahead.
Then I get stuck into some computer work, basic emails, calls and anything urgent.
Then I do a 10min yoga/stretch to get my body warm, loose and energized.

What’s your favourite PranaOn product?

I don’t think I have any hidden talents left that would still be a secret at this stage haha.

Not necessarily

Do you prefer training in the morning or evening?

I generally workout around lunchtime which is my favorite. It allows me to get some initial work done in the mornings and then energize myself with a workout before really focusing in on the deeper work in the afternoons.

What’s on the horizon for you?

Thats a tough one to answer with all the changes that have taken place during COVID. So I’m choosing to focus on the things I can control, like staying healthy & fit and spending as much time connecting with friends and family as possible.
